Gregg McKenzie, “Focus on Placer Legacy, Part II”

Gregg McKenzie is the Administrator of the Placer County Conservation Plan (PCCP) based in Placer County’s Community Development Resource Agency. The PCCP is a proposed multi-species Habitat Conservation Plan and Natural Community Conservation Plan covering more than 200,000 acres in Western Placer County. The PCCP also proposes to integrate wetlands and other waters of the U.S., State, and Placer County under the Western Placer County Aquatic Resources Program.
Gregg has had a diverse career including positions as Principal Planner in the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, Chief Financial Officer and Partner in Sierra View Landscape, Inc. DBA Restoration Resources, and Corporate Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs for the Del Webb – Pulte Home Corp. Gregg has served as an appointed public official as a City of Rocklin Planning Commissioner for the past twelve years, as a Placer County Fish and Game Commissioner, and in various volunteer roles including Treasurer of the Placer Land Trust. In his spare time Gregg is an eighteen-time Ironman Triathlon finisher and avid fly fisherman.
