Salmon to swim above Shasta Dam for the first time in 80 years

While the US Fish and Wildlife Service is Transporting salmon over Shasta Dam to cooler waters in the McCloud River to increase survival rates, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife CONTINUES TO REFUSE SARSAS PERMISSION TO TRANSPORT SALMON OVER HEMPHILL DAM TO ALLOW THEM TO REACH PRIME SPAWNING GRAVELS AND COOLER WATERS TO SAVE THIS YEAR’S SALMON RUN.
