SARSAS has received the following letter from Gary King, Engineering Manager of the Hemphill Dam Project

Hi, we hope everyone is well.
We have received reviews from NMFS and CDFW over the infiltration gallery design (please see attached). Based on a review of this input, we will need to relook at the options based on these reviews. The current options analysis is available on our website under the Hemphill Project ( https://nidwater.com/hemphill-diversion-facility/ ). Based on relooking at the options, the District has asked our consultants NV5 and Helix to increase their participation and support of District staff in an effort to find a solution to this passage issue. If you have any additional ideas outside of our current one, please be prepared to discuss at the meeting.
We would like to have a TAC meeting on March 6, 2019, at 10:00 AM at a location to be provided in the future. This meeting would be to discuss the options available and current ongoing studies. Please indicate if you are able to make this meeting or another time. Fish studies and water quality monitoring is ongoing and we will report on these efforts at this meeting.
Thanks

Gary King
Engineering Manager
