Dan Teater, District Fisheries, American River Ranger District, USFWS, “Fisheries Related Projects in the Tahoe National Forest”

Dan Teater is a Fisheries Biologist who has collaborated on projects involving aquatic organism passage, hydropower relicensing, vegetation management and Endangered Species Act consultation for 20 years on the Tahoe National Forest. Dan has worked with State and Federal agencies and non-governmental organizations to adequately manage and protect aquatic resources on the Tahoe National Forest. The last decade he has worked largely in the hydropower arena conducting a variety of fisheries studies to inform complex instream flow negotiations. Dan is a graduate of Humboldt State University and lives in Auburn with his wife and new son, his future fishing partner.
